 Follow these guidelines to keep your Kahtoola® products in the best possible condition.
KTS Aluminum & KTS Steel
Clean and inspect your KTS after each use. If you see damage or excessive wear, make any repairs prior to further use. Kahtoola may evaluate and/or repair damaged components at its discretion, and customers may be charged a reasonable fee for items not covered by the warranty.
If the points show signs of excessive wear, you can sharpen them using a common flat file. However, please note that wear may be somewhat accelerated after resharpening. This will be less of a problem if you leave a flat or blunt area on the tip of each point.
