December 2006 - Take FLIGHT. Upgrade your three-season footwear by slipping on a pair of warm neoprene overboots with integrated crampons. If the going gets powdery, simply click on a pair of snowshoes by stepping down on the locking fing system. It's all part of the Kahtoola FLIGHTsystem, a new footwear solution for the snowy trails of winter. Donning the overboots can be an exercise in teeth-clenching grunts, but once on they conform nicely to your foot. The flat snowshoes pack easily, though the release cord is difficult to operate with gloved hands.
