Featuring a more versatile and lighter means to run, hike and walk in snow, Kahtoola is launching the FLIGHTsystem, allowing users to customize their own footwear with a variety of traction, protection, and flotation options. The FLIGHTsystem includes the insulated FLIGHTboot with built-in traction and FLIGHTdeck step-in snowshoe deck. The FLIGHTboot is an insulated overshoe that slides over sneakers or other footwear and is secured by a single ratcheted strap. It is equipped with traction in the forefoto, midfoot and heel. Available in the medium Gemini and small Gypsy, the FLIGHTdeck can be used in conjunction with the FLIGHTboot for better flotation in deep snow.
